ABOUT PLANNER REBEL CO.
We custom design all of our dashboards, deco and functional inserts with an eye toward the artistic and the cheerful. We want your planner to give you flowers when you're feeling down, and comfort when you're feeling overwhelmed--like a nice boyfriend who brings you a carton of ice cream, but without the mansplaining and the milk allergy. We're not saying you have to fill your entire planner with our stuff ( unless you want to, then we’re absolutely saying that! ) but we think we're a good balance between clean-lined, functional, and fun.
ABOUT ME.
Hello there. I’m Valerie, aka Planner Rebel Co. Yes, the entire Co. :)
How I got here: Necessity! Planner Rebel Co was born after I found myself in an endless loop of empowerment and defeat-- when my to-do list was completed, I felt amazing, and when my to-do list was neverending, I felt like I'd never finish. Enter the Inbox/Outbox. Obviously, I didn’t invent the inbox, and I didn’t invent the term brain dump, but as soon as I connected these two concepts, something clicked-- BRAIN DUMP as INBOX = OUTBOX. Without the Outbox, the inbox is just another running to-do list-- so the Inbox/Outbox system is built upon the idea that it is more productive to brain dump and get everything down on paper first, (the inbox) then organize your tasks, chores, appointments, etc., within your monthly weekly and daily system second (the outbox.) With a little trial and error, I worked the inbox/outbox into my own system, and it's been going strong since I opened my very first wee little Etsy shop way back in 2019.
I am an artist at heart. Over the years, I have studied psychology (among other things) and have published books of poetry, but I am a graphic artist at heart. It’s where I began my educational and employment journey, and is an integral part of who I am. While I love making functional inserts, I love designing dashboards and deco the most.
I am an extroverted introvert. I value solitude and alone-time, but I’ll also talk with anyone willing to chat! I enjoy social interaction, especially within the planner community, and value every one of you very generous, creative and friendly souls.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT.
At Planner Rebel Co, we try to avoid buzzwords. We're not into cliques, and we value individuality. We love community, and we're heartened by the way a group of planner nerds like us can offer unconditional support to one another. We love our Mother Earth and the entire Universe. We believe in sharing knowledge and respecting each other's differences as well as our similarities. We're not here to add to the overflowing pool of sameness, but to inspire self-awareness, creativity and empowerment. We're here to support you throughout your personal journey via organization, goal-setting, and action-triggered manifestation. We're all on this crazy ride together, let's make it amazing.
